Libraries with NoveList Select are now able to use our new Analytics Dashboard to see their NoveList Select usage data from any web-enabled device, anywhere, any time. This dashboard provides a window into how your library’s patrons are viewing and interacting with information in the catalog.

What’s in the dashboard?

You’ll be able to see a monthly views total, which represents the number of times NoveList Select provided enrichment. This figure is a brand-new data point, and we think you’ll love it because it provides a broad measure of engagement with your catalog. Clicks are also available and provide a more focused measure of interaction. The dashboard has extensive click data, broken down into multiple charts. Together, views and clicks provide a holistic picture of the impact NoveList Select is having in your catalog.

You’ll also see this helpful information at a glance, including:

  • Total views for last month
  • Total clicks for last month
  • Chart comparing clicks year-to-year
  • Breakdown of clicks on individual features

How do I access the dashboard?

We’ll be reaching out individually to library administrators, so watch your email for instructions. If you have questions about your organization’s dashboard, email us at novelistselectsupport@ebsco.com

This dashboard replaces the previous reports (in spreadsheet form). However, if you would still like to get your hands on the classic spread-sheet style data report — we’ve got you covered. Just click the “13 Month Click Report” link in the dashboard. You’ll see a historical breakdown of feature usage for a rolling year.
