The Alice books by Lewis Carroll were her favorite when she was a kid (she memorized all the poems in Through the Looking Glass and can still recite Jabberwocky). Today you are likely to find Amie reading science fiction or Middle Eastern-influenced fantasy. She enjoys stories that are character-driven, intricately plotted, stylistically complex, and haunting. In her free time, she loves doing jigsaw puzzles, reading, and spending time with friends and family (and cats).
