Lindsey creates and edits feature-length articles for librarians serving children and teens. These articles help librarians navigate RA conversations, inspire innovative programming ideas, or point librarians to the books patrons ask for the most. Her passion projects include tracking books made into movies or TV shows and discovering books by Indigenous authors. Lindsey has also served as a Christy Awards judge since 2017. Before coming to NoveList, she worked in public libraries for 13 years as a youth librarian specializing in teen services.
As a child, Lindsey's favorite book was The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl. Today you'll likely find her reading stories that are character-driven and feature awkward characters. Her favorite theme is misfits united. Lindsey also has a side gig as a film critic and enjoys reviewing movies at film festivals.
