Yaika comes from a background in public libraries and now works on editorial content as part of the Book Discovery team. Her passions include horror, graphic novels, folklore and mythology, true crime, and diverse representation in books and media. Her go-to genre for books, movies, or other formats is horror, which she balances with interjections of all things cute and funny. And while she is a horror fan first, she does her best to read across genres, usually by finding a short story collection to devour.
