7 – 9 March 2023: 26th Annual Conference & Exhibition of SLA, Gulf Chapter, Kuwait
The Special Libraries Association is a specialised global organisation founded during 1900s in the United States. It adopts the innovations of specialists and professionals in the field of information and libraries. SLA serves more than 12,000 members in 83 countries in the information profession, including corporate, academic and government information specialists. SLA promotes and strengthens its members through learning, incentives, and networking initiatives. The Arabian Gulf Chapter used to hold its annual conference in one of the Arabian Gulf Countries where professional members of the AGC Board of Directors supervise the programs.
13 – 17 March 2023: International Association of University Libraries (IATUL), United Arab Emirates
The Annual IATUL Conference aim at welcoming 200 or more delegates, and include a social programme for delegates and accompanying persons, as well as commercial exhibits. Also part of the conference are two Board meetings, and an Annual General Assembly for IATUL members.
