Bowen Thagard
Senior Vice President of Operations & Finance, Americas
Bowen Thagard is the Senior Vice President of Operations and Finance, Americas, for the Subscription Services Division of EBSCO Information Services (EIS). Since joining EBSCO in 2007, he has held several operational and financial leadership roles across the company’s domestic and international regions.
Prior to joining EBSCO, Bowen spent eight years in Atlanta where he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and The Home Depot. He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Management Information Systems and earned a Master of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
Bowen is a board member at McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama, a member of the Birmingham Downtown Kiwanis Club and a former Dean’s Advisory Board member for Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business. Bowen lives in Birmingham with his wife and two daughters.
