Lauren joined the NoveList Team in 2021 and enjoys getting to talk to customers about how our products can help make their lives easier and connect the readers they serve to books and library resources. She is passionate about early literacy and instilling a love of learning through reading.
Before becoming a NoveList Consultant, Lauren worked in public libraries for 13 years in two large library systems and six branches. Most of her library career was in children's services, and she'll always be a storyteller at heart.
Her favorite book growing up was The Giver by Lois Lowry, and yes, she did the most librarian of all things and named her oldest child after the main character. Today she reads mostly fiction, and her favorite is world-building fantasy or sci-fi with complex characters, and happy endings are always preferred!
When she's not at work, she enjoys hanging out and hiking with her family, starting crochet projects, and refinishing old furniture.
