Lisa catalogs juvenile titles for NoveList, and is particularly focused on developing our collection of Australian and New Zealander titles for young readers, plus bilingual titles. She is also our point person for collection development of children’s fiction.
Lisa received her MLS at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, but since Duke is her alma mater, she remains a Blue Devil at heart. She adores Kate DiCamillo and reads a smidgen of everything. She especially enjoys reading We’re Going on a Bear Hunt with her children. Other favorite picture books include Goodnight Moon, The Runaway Bunny, and Eric Carle (Okay especially Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?).
