OpenRS stands for Open Resource Sharing, a resource sharing initiative created in partnership with library consortia, open-source developers, and vendors. OpenRS is a resource sharing system that is ILS- and discovery-agnostic and accommodates the full spectrum of resource sharing.
OpenRS integrates seamlessly with various ILS systems, including FOLIO, and allows libraries within a consortium or resource sharing network to share print resources efficiently. OpenRS is exciting because it works with multi-type consortia.
