9:40 AM EST – An Inside Look at Vendor Product Development Practices
Join EBSCO’s Courtney Peckham along with Bloomsbury Academic and LYRASIS for a session on how companies make decisions and develop products. Addressing how vendors decide when to bring a new resource to market, how they go about finding content and creating strategies for developing new resources, as well as the internal processes vendors have to establish community needs, product viability, and other critical factors.

November 3rd

9:40 AM EST – Are we still on the same page?”: Updating Change Communication for Hybrid Workplaces

In this stopwatch session join one of EBSCO's Library Services Engineers, Courtney McAllister as she shares how updating common change management practices and communication strategies can address the needs of hybrid work environments. This session will summarize key theoretical concepts related to change management, emotion and communication.

9:40 AM EST – DEI for Everyone: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the Vendor’s Perspective
This panel discussion with David Hellman from San Francisco State University, Kimberly Clarkson from EBSCO, Seth Cayley from Gale and Nathalie Duval of ProQuest, will dive into matters related to DEI resources. The panel will examine how vendors identify, develop, and prioritize DEI content; and how they review, update or change indexing and search taxonomy. The panel will also discuss the challenges and opportunities faced in light of the growing demand for DEI resources.

November 14th

3:00 PM EST – "It's Opener There in Wide Open Air"
This virtual session with EBSCO’s Anne Campbell, Denise Branch from Virginia Commonwealth University, Sion Romaine from University of Washington, and FOLIO’s Dennis Bridges will summarize the tasks completed to produce an unprecedented Serials Renewal Integration Service. Analyzing existing customer workflows, reviewing the journal renewal interface of multiple library systems, and identifying pain points presented an opportunity to develop a renewal integration service between the Subscription Agent and the Library system. Hear from each side as we share our perspective from the beginning of an idea to working together to produce the final product.
