For many companies, access to current and accurate information sources is critical to their success. Educational Testing Service (ETS) advances the quality and equity in education for people worldwide by creating assessments based on rigorous education research. ETS serves individuals, educational institutions and government agencies by providing customized solutions for teacher certification, English language learning, elementary, secondary and postsecondary education, and by conducting education research, analysis and policy studies. To support the research needs of more than 1,500 employees, ETS uses a wide range of resources and requires streamlined search and discovery for all of their content.

Faced with the challenges of providing rich content, intuitive searching and better workflows, ETS wanted to learn how their subscribed content and resources impact ETS work. ETS Library purchases most of its electronic content through EBSCO and has improved workflows and freed up librarians to focus on tasks such as analyzing usage and user activity.

Since we’ve streamlined this process, we’ve been able to spend more time assessing how our users are engaging with EBSCO products and content. We aren’t simply responsible for maintaining these subscriptions; we have to stay in the know about how our subscriptions are impacting ETS work.
