Agenda Unveiled for the 2025 EBSCO User Group

~ EBSCO User Group Showcases Library Innovation With User-Led Sessions and Workshops ~

IPSWICH, Mass. — Jan. 29, 2025 — The agenda for the 2025 EBSCO User Group, taking place April 29–May 2, 2025, at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island, is now available. This annual event brings together users of EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) products and services from academic libraries across North America to share insights, exchange ideas, and provide feedback to shape future product enhancements.

The 2025 EBSCO User Group agenda features sessions covering various topics, including artificial intelligence, collection development, integrations and APIs, migration, reporting and analytics, and more.

Key highlights include:

  • User-Led Sessions: Hear from library colleagues from Stanford University, Cornell University, Oklahoma State University and more.
  • Special Session by Marshall Breeding: Esteemed library technology expert Marshall Breeding will present "EBSCO: History, Context and Innovation," offering insights into current trends and innovations shaping library service platforms.
  • Pre-Conference Workshops: On April 29, four workshops focused on optimizing EBSCO products, such as EBSCO Discovery Service, Full Text Finder, EBSCOhost®, and Mosaic by GOBI Library Solutions.
  • EBSCO FOLIO Day: A day dedicated to EBSCO FOLIO users, with sessions exploring migration, APIs, functionality and user engagement.
  • Expanded Help Desks: One-on-one consultations with EBSCO Library Service Engineers, the FOLIO Implementation Team, and EBSCO Discovery Service experts for personalized support.
  • Product Updates and Leadership News: Presentations from EBSCO leadership on the latest product developments and future directions.
  • Networking Reception: An evening event held on April 30 at which attendees can connect with peers to discuss emerging library technology and service trends, share experiences, and build valuable relationships.
