Nutrition Reference Center™ offers the latest evidence-based information on nutrition in an easy-to-use online format. This meets a vital need of patient care both inside and outside of a medical facility and also provides the opportunity for continuing education for its users.

Clinicians can access the database via a mobile app or the mobile responsive-designed website. Information is presented in easy-to-navigate tabs (Diseases, Skills, Food, Guidelines, etc.). Users will find a comprehensive suite of content, including:
- Dietary therapy for specific diseases
- Types of diets and their potential benefits
- Information on vitamin and nutritional deficiencies
- Medical nutrition therapy, enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Herbal supplements/vitamins and interaction with food, impact on patient nutrition, etc.
Nutrition Reference Center provides Continuing Education modules to help dietitians obtain or maintain credentialing from Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CINAHL Information Systems, which aggregates the information in this database, is accredited as a provider of continuing education by CDR and by the International Associating for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
