IPSWICH, Mass. — August 27, 2020 — EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has partnered with NoodleTools, a research management platform that allows students to export citations with ease. The partnership integrates NoodleTools with EBSCOhost®, EBSCO Discovery Service™ and Explora™ for mutual customers.
NoodleTools is a secure online research management platform that helps students organize their sources, build accurate citations, take notes, outline topics and prepare to write. NoodleTools allows students to create personal accounts, and now they can export MLA, APA, and Chicago/Turabian citations from any EBSCO search interface and save them to their accounts.
NoodleTools is used in more than 11,000 schools, colleges and universities. In addition to helping students generate accurate MLA, APA and Chicago/Turabian references, NoodleTools promotes critical thinking and authentic research. The platform helps students analyze and evaluate their sources, collaborate with peers and solicit feedback from teachers and librarians.
NoodleTools founder Damon Abilock says this partnership will allow students of all ages using EBSCO interfaces to grow as researchers and transform into independent, self-reflective learners. “We strive to keep students organized and on task, as well as evaluate, synthesize and properly attribute information. This helps them build the connections necessary for breakthrough thinking, grow a healthy dose of skepticism and a lifelong mindset for original work. This partnership with EBSCO will allow us to influence more students and help them continue to develop their researching skills.”
The NoodleTools enhancement has been automatically released across all EBSCO search interfaces. To learn how to export citations to NoodleTools, visit EBSCO Connect.
