ISO certifications are awarded after a thorough evaluation by external auditors.
ISO 9001 certification is granted to companies that consistently provide quality goods and services to customers, considering several quality management principles including strong customer focus, motivation and implication of leadership and continued improvement to processes. ISO 14001 is granted to companies with a commitment to improving environmental performance. Use of computer equipment and technology, disposal of waste and energy consumption were assessed as part of EBSCO receiving ISO 14001.
