IPSWICH, Mass.June 22, 2015 EBSCO Information Services’ symposium, titled “2015 Open Day,” was held on June 18, at the College des Bernardins in Paris, France. It brought together librarians from various academic and corporate institutions to gain a better knowledge of EBSCO’s discovery solution, EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) as well as EBSCO’s online resources including EBSCO eBooks, PlumX and research databases.

EBSCO’s Open Day offers a unique setting that brings together many international and local publishers. This year, more than 300 participants attended the popular symposium. Attendees walked away with useful information regarding the latest content and technology enhancements to EBSCO resources as well as ideas to enhance the discovery experience for their users by taking advantage of EBSCO Discovery Service’s cutting-edge technology to optimize the user experience. The symposium also included EDS and EBSCO eBooks testimonials from Lisbon University and l'Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne that were well-received by the attendees.
