Prior to joining the Product Management team, Savannah spent nine years as a public librarian, where she was an enthusiastic evangelist about the wonders of NoveList products to staff and patrons. In short, she’s now in her dream job. Savannah researches library trends and talks to customers about how they use our products so we can learn ways to make our NoveList resources even better. Her first library job was in fourth grade (and she was paid in discarded books — her destiny as a future librarian was set).
When Savannah was 12 years old, she was gifted a copy of Betty Smith's A Tree Grows in Brooklyn with a promise that it would change her life. The moment she read the line "The world was hers for the reading," she knew it was true.
Savannah will devour books that are character driven with lyrical writing and complex plotting. She loves a strong female regardless of genre — mysteries, romance, historical or speculative fiction — even biographies and history. She also has a soft spot for unreliable narrators and novels of place. When she's not reading (or taking a long walk while immersed in an audiobook), you'll find Savannah cooking, baking, crafting, attending live performances, and utterly spoiling her rescue cat.
