Marie-Anne Durand, BSc, MSc, MPhil, PhD, CPsychol
Marie-Anne Durand, MSc MPhil PhD CPsychol is a Consultant Managing Editor for Option Grid. She is a health services researcher with a Doctoral Degree in Medicine and health psychology and a longstanding interest in evidence-based public health. Over the past 15 years, she has developed research and evaluation expertise in communication in healthcare, implementation science, and health disparities research as well as solid change management and quality improvement experience in the public sector.
She is an Inserm researcher at the University Toulouse III Paul Sabatier and Adjunct Associate Professor at the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, Dartmouth College, USA. She is also an Adjunct Scientist at Unisanté, a Primary Care Academic Center in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her primary research interests lie in healthcare communication (including shared decision making) and health disparities, self-management, health literacy, implementation science, and the impact of pictorial and health literacy interventions on underserved populations.
