Paritosh Prasad, MD, DTM&H, MBA
Paritosh Prasad MD, DTM&H, MBA is the Deputy Editor for Infectious Disease and Immunology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease and Critical Care. Tosh received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction and completed his Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residencies at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital Boston. He was the Harvard Durant Refugee Medicine Fellow, completed his Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and completed his Infectious Disease and Transplant Infectious Disease Fellowships at the Massachusetts General Hospital and his Critical Care Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.
He is presently an Associate Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics and Surgery at the University of Rochester and Faculty at the University of Rochester Medical Center where he serves as the Director of Transplant and Immunocompromised Infectious Disease, Director of the Highly Infectious Disease Unit and Director of Surgical Critical Care.
