Petra Schultz
Petra Schultz, PharmD is Editor in Chief of Merative Micromedex®. She has 24 years experience in healthcare, focused in drug information, therapeutic policy management, and healthcare information technology. In her current role, Petra leads Editorial Services for the Micromedex clinical decision support portfolio, delivering evidence-based professional drug and toxicology content, accompanying consumer education materials, and drug product and pricing data to support patient care delivery. Since joining then Thomson Healthcare in 2006, Petra has held several roles in content development, clinical pre-sales support, and product management for Micromedex. Most recently, Petra served as Deputy Chief Health Officer, aligning clinical initiatives to support go-to-market needs.
Petra received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Florida State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida followed by completion of ASHP-accredited residencies in Pharmacy Practice and Drug Information Practice at University Medical Center (Jacksonville) and Shands Jacksonville, now part of UF Health. Earlier in her career, she practiced and held academic appointments in drug information and therapeutic policy management at the Medical University of South Carolina and the Mayo Clinic Florida.
Petra’s personal interests include travel, hiking, skiing, yoga, and appreciation of all kinds of music.
