Stacey Valentine, MD MPH, FCCP, FAAP

Stacey Valentine, MD MPH, FCCP, FAAP, is the Deputy Editor of Pediatrics at DynaMed.  She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and is a  Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians as well as a member of the Society for Pediatric Research. Stacey has ongoing research interests in pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome and transfusion in critically ill children and has served on national consensus panels to develop recommendations for transfusion in critically ill children.

Stacey is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and is the pediatric vice-chair for academic affairs. Stacey earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine.  She completed her pediatric residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program (Boston Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center) and her fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Boston Children’s Hospital.
