Dr. Yoo-Joung Ko graduated from the University of Toronto and completed his internal medicine training at U of T before moving to Boston in where he completed his fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. During the fellowship, Dr. Ko also attained a Masters in Medical Sciences at Harvard Medical School/MIT followed by a Masters of Science in Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Dr. Ko’s clinical practice is focused on the care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies at St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health in Toronto where he is Program Medical Director in Oncology and Endoscopy. He is an Associate Professor at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine.
