Leigh joined the Engagement and Marketing team at NoveList in 2022. Books and libraries are her passion! Leigh is thrilled to be a member of the dynamic team that helps libraries promote their collections and offerings and helps readers find their next favorite book.
Before coming to NoveList, Leigh worked for nonprofits for 12 years, including five years in the fabulous children’s department at Pikes Peak Library District. She loves middle-grade fantasy, everything by Jasper Fforde, and food writing. Her favorite books growing up were the Redwall series by Brian Jacques (because of all the feasting, hence her lifelong obsession with food writing).
At home, Leigh writes and hopes to publish someday. She’s a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and a mom of two great kids. Her husband likes to tear her away from books to go on hikes in Colorado, which they’re happy to call home.
