Smore Magazine

Smore is a new kind of science magazine created so girls can embrace their passion and interest for science. It will be a comic-style magazine that explains science and technology through storytelling and takes science beyond fact laden school textbooks. It will also bring smart, successful women in science from academia and industry into the spotlight on the covers providing the much needed visible role models to empower and inspire young readers. The latest science news will be communicated in a kid-friendly format, space and technology section will take a peek into the world of space exploration. Articles include, stories of past inventors and scientists whose work has shaped our world today, environmental topics, along with math and logic puzzles, fun trivia and lots more will be presented in a visually appealing and fun manner. This magazine is targeted to girls ages 7-12 but appeals to all interested in science. Smore has 4 issues in a year that is completely ad-free. (Also printed on 100% recylced paper).
