Teresa Trammell, CPNP-AC, MSN, MHA

Teresa is a clinical consultant with EBSCO Information Services and is a practicing pediatric nurse practitioner who specializes in pediatric trauma and family medicine.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Baylor University, earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Duke University, and has a Master of Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. 

Teresa has extensive experience in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units and was a trauma flight nurse prior to becoming a nurse practitioner by attending Duke. She taught at Emory University in the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Medical College of Georgia, and has served multiple roles in the education of nurses and medical residents.  Teresa has worked as a clinical nurse leader at both the Medical University of South Carolina and the Children’s Hospital in Atlanta and has participated as a pediatric cardiac researcher at the Medical University of South Carolina.  She has also reviewed and written for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing NCLEX exam and has presented at numerous medical and nursing conferences.

Teresa continues to provide health care with a focus on the homeless, indigenous populations, and other humanitarian causes.
